The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self driven Senior Industrialization Engineer to join our Operations team. You will lead the industrialization of our ANYmal robots from early stages in the development up to production readiness with a focus on scaling to series production. Your contributions will have Real Impact to drive optimized quality, on-time delivery and cost across the whole lifecycle of our ANYmal robots. The Market & Our Technology
ANYbotics transforms industrial plants in the energy, process, and utility sector by introducing robotics to a wide range of novel applications that so far were beyond reach. Our customers are large asset operators and industrial service providers pioneering the use of robotics technology for inspection and maintenance. Our products enable autonomous routine inspections and monitoring of large scale industrial facilities for increased safety and productivity. We develop numerous customized hardware systems, including the entire robotic platform, actuators, sensors, inspection payloads, charging systems, as well as all software to enable world-class mobility, autonomy and AI driven inspection insights. We have proven the technology and the business impact to our customers in long-term pilot projects and are scaling-up sales of our commercial solution.
Your Contributions
- Take ownership and lead of industrialization projects from early development phases into series production
- Specify and develop production, assembly and test procedures, quality documentation and associated tooling and training material
- Implement and qualify the production process together with quality management in operations (production, supply chain) including training of personnel, in-house and at our outsourcing partner
- Foster the design, production and technical knowledge transfer from and to manufacturing partners
- Actively contribute during development projects to secure best possible scale-up into series production
- Manage the production master data across the whole product life-cycle including engineering changes
- Contribute with your knowledge to the development of our industrialization process landscape
- Support the analysis of non conformities and propose related product or process optimizations
Your Profile
- Degree or higher in mechanical, electronics or mechatronics engineering, manufacturing engineering, or system engineering (or equivalent relevant industry experience)
- Extensive years of hands-on experience in industrialization, engineering and/or manufacturing of complex electro-mechanical products with proven track record across the whole product lifecycle
- Profound knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes, measurement technologies, automation, Design for Excellence (DfX) and LEAN manufacturing principles
- Experience in CAD, PDM/PLM, MES and ERP systems as user and in process development
- Highly proactive, goal focused and persistent in managing internal and external stakeholders in engineering, supply chain and production with strong negotiation skills
- Open and team oriented personality
- Excellent communication oral and written in English and German
Bonus Points
- Experience in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- Lean Six Sigma green belt qualification or beyond
- Project management certification e.g. PMI
