The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self driven Industrialization Engineer with focus on electronics to join our Operations team. In this role you will contribute with your experience and know-how as well as further develop your skills as we rapidly grow our operations with new products and production setup. You will shape the industrialization of electrical systems of our ANYmal robots from early stages in the development up to production readiness for scaling to series production. Your contributions will have Real Impact to drive optimized cost, quality and on-time delivery across the whole lifecycle of our ANYmal robots. The Market & Our Technology
ANYbotics transforms industrial plants in the energy, process, and utility sector by introducing robotics to a wide range of novel applications that so far were beyond reach. Our customers are large asset operators and industrial service providers pioneering the use of robotics technology for inspection and maintenance. Our products enable autonomous routine inspections and monitoring of large scale industrial facilities for increased safety and productivity. We develop numerous customized hardware systems, including the entire robotic platform, actuators, sensors, inspection payloads, charging systems, as well as all software to enable world-class mobility, autonomy and AI driven inspection insights. We have proven the technology and the business impact to our customers in long-term pilot projects and are scaling-up sales of our commercial solution.
Your Contributions
- Manage industrialization projects for electronic assemblies (PCBAs and cabling) from development into series production at manufacturing partners
- Actively contribute during development phases to secure best possible scale-up by providing engineering input on manufacturability, cost reduction and process design
- Ensure product quality by developing and maintaining testing and control systems and SOPs in compliance with industry standards
- Facilitate trainings and technical knowledge transfer between internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues
- Support the analysis of failures and non conformities and drive related product or process optimizations
- Contribute to component engineering and manage the product master data along along the whole product life-cycle including engineering changes
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in electrical engineering, or industrial engineering in electronics
- Extensive experience in electronics manufacturing and/or electrical engineering with focus on series production ready designs and test implementations
- In-depth knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, including PCB assembly, SMT, THT and associated testing procedures
- Experience in applying relevant industry standards (e.g. IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620) within regulatory compliance
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
- Proficiency in CAD software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools
- Highly proactive and team oriented personality to collaborate in cross functional teams
- Excellent communication in English and German

- Profound PCBA and cable design expertise
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards including ISO and IPC
- Experienced in firmware and test software development
