Robotics Lab Technician Intern

The Opportunity
We are looking for a hands-on Robotics Lab Technician Intern for a 6-month period to support our engineering team with hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, and lab organization. In this role, you will focus on the physical upkeep and operational readiness of our robotics systems and testing environment. This is a highly practical, execution-focused position ideal for students or technical trainees seeking direct experience with robotics hardware.

Your Impact
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair robotics hardware and subsystems before and after testing cycles
- Build and maintain laboratory tools, infrastructure, and test benches to ensure optimal working conditions
- Organize the laboratory space, managing component inventory, tools, and safety protocols to maintain a clean, efficient workspace
- Assist technical staff with the physical setup, wiring, and mounting of sensors and hardware testing rigs
- Execute standard test protocols on robotics systems under the guidance of our engineering team
Your Profile
- Student or trainee currently enrolled in a hands-on technical program from a university, school of applied sciences, or a relevant vocational track
- Strong practical mindset with a genuine interest in troubleshooting, repairing hardware, and working with your hands
- Methodical and organized approach to keeping a structured, tidy, and safe laboratory environment
- Basic familiarity with electronics and sensors such as multimeters, wiring, and basic test equipment
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, to collaborate effectively with our international technical team
Bonus Points
- Prior experience working in a makerspace, university lab, or automotive/electronics workshop
- Familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu) environment and basic command-line interfaces
- Basic soldering skills or experience with electrical crimping tools
