Manager - Sales
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ati Robotics is India's leading manufacturer of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for industrial and intralogistics applications. As Manager – Sales, you will own revenue growth across your territory by selling AMR and broader automation solutions to enterprise customers — with a strong focus on automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and large manufacturing facilities.
We recognise that AMR adoption in India is still early-stage. We therefore welcome candidates with strong industrial automation, robotics, or intralogistics sales backgrounds who are ready to grow into — and accelerate — the AMR market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own end-to-end sales for AMR and automation solutions — from lead generation and pre-sales technical evaluation to proposal, negotiation, and deal closure
- Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with company growth targets, covering automotive, FMCG, pharma, electronics, and e-commerce verticals
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline with full visibility at every stage; maintain accurate forecasts
- Identify and engage new customers; nurture existing accounts for expansion and repeat business
- Deeply understand customer workflows and application requirements; propose the right automation solution — AMR, conveyor, robot cell, or hybrid
- Develop high-quality techno-commercial proposals, ROI models, and customer presentations independently or with pre-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with plant heads, manufacturing engineers, procurement, and C-suite stakeholders
- Represent Ati Motors at trade shows, industry bodies, and customer events to strengthen brand positioning
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure smooth project handoffs
REQUIREMENTS

- 8–12 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in one or more of: AMR/AGV, industrial robotics, turnkey automation, or intralogistics/MHE solutions
- Hands-on closing experience in complex, long-cycle sales — not limited to pre-sales or distribution roles
- Direct exposure to automotive OEM or Tier-1/Tier-2 supplier accounts (mandatory)
- Familiarity with automation products such as articulated robots, vision systems, conveyors, PLCs, or SCADA is an advantage
- Demonstrated record of strategic customer wins; ability to convert POCs and pilots into commercial orders
Skills & Competencies
- Strong commercial acumen: comfortable with pricing, margin analysis, and deal structuring
- Ability to build and deliver techno-commercial proposals and ROI-driven customer presentations
- Excellent stakeholder management — able to navigate multi-level buying processes across engineering, procurement, and leadership
- Sharp analytical skills; able to read market trends and translate them into actionable territory plans
- High-energy, self-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
