A NOTE FROM YOUR TEAM LEAD

We're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join one of our cross-functional teams, working on the Clue product and the services it interacts with. Join us and help over 10 million monthly active users to learn about their bodies and to better live in sync with their biology. You will help your cross-functional team build and iterate on features in their domain by participating in all stages of development – from early design, to implementation, to release – always having quality & observability in mind along the way.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering teams to shape, develop and ship impactful features.
• Advocate for a business-oriented approach to feature prioritization and drive efficient collaboration across teams and functions.
• Become a proactive member of the iOS chapter where you continuously explore, discuss, and adopt modern engineering technologies and practices, as well as engage in constructive and empathetic feedback in code reviews and beyond.
• Share responsibility for the iOS platform’s stability, performance, and overall quality.
• Address iOS-related queries and challenges with responsiveness and expertise.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong iOS Expertise: You have extensive hands-on experience building and maintaining native, real-world iOS applications, ideally using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Pragmatic Decision-Making: Your experience enables you to tell cosmetic imperfections from costly tech debt, and you focus available resources towards resolving the latter while being at peace with superficial flaws along the way.
• Testing & Observability: You have obtained a deep understanding of unit and integration testing, and proven experience in working with monitoring & observability solutions to ensure system stability and performance.
• Leadership, Collaboration & Communication: You have demonstrated ability to lead by example, mentor team members, and foster a positive, collaborative team culture. You are comfortable working cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams. You can clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Continuous Delivery Mindset: You are championing modern engineering practices such as CI and CD, with real-world experience in applying these practices for mobile applications, and you understand how they accelerate delivery cycles and enhance product quality.
• Strategic Thinking: You think beyond code – understanding the bigger picture, aligning engineering goals with business objectives, and contributing meaningfully to product strategy.
• Passion for Technology: You stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends and are eager to bring innovative ideas to the team.
