Do you love using your excellent coding skills to build scalable software and automation? Are you excited about microservices, operating system internals and computer networking and are you not afraid of troubleshooting them? Then we would like to welcome you as Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) to our international team in Munich or Berlin!

  • You are part of our agile Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Team and you focus on improving the instrumentation and reliability of our microservices
  • You monitor availability and latency of services and troubleshoot incidents in a blameless culture
  • You support other teams in learning how to build scalable software and how to operate their own services
  • You take on diverse technical problems and work on tasks that enable you to continuously learn new things
  • You help us securing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platform
Your fitness level
  • You are experienced in working with Cloud Providers (GCP, AWS), Microservices and Container Orchestration
  • You have proficient coding skills in at least one or more programming languages (preferable Go or Java)
  • You have a solid understanding of Linux system internals and computer networking
  • You are a problem solver and challenge seeker
  • You either hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering in a relevant technical field or have comparable knowledge
Your training goal for your first 6 months
  • You familiarize yourself with the EGYM ecosystem and the role of the different teams in the software engineering department
  • You are comfortable working with our Infrastructure, Tools and Automation Workflow
  • You provided guidance to other engineers and deliver feedback in a constructive manner
  • You are able to support our team during incidents
