Team mission

We are a multi-disciplinary team of Product Designers, Content Designers, and UX Researchers that are passionate about solving customer problems in an effective way. We combine empathy, our craft, and creativity to create valuable, usable, and delightful product experiences. Our work is guided by strong principles that make our experience focus on value and feel simple, trustworthy, human, and unique. We collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data to ensure those principles are front and center in the features we develop.

You will:

  • You will support senior researchers in strategic research initiatives with GetYourGuide customers, suppliers, or partners.
  • You will support product teams in their evaluative research initiatives to optimize the experience of new and existing features and/or products.
  • You will plan and lead your own research projects, using research methods like user interviews or usability testing.
  • You will conduct desk research.
  • You will take on administrative and operational tasks to help continuously improve our research processes, tools, and knowledge management, such as supporting recruitment processes and maintaining and managing our research repository.
  • You will present and communicate research insights to a diverse audience of designers, product managers, and engineers.

Who you are

  • You are currently enrolled as a student at a Swiss university, preferable you will graduate within the next 12-24 months;
  • You are studying at M.A./M.S. level and/or have a Bachelor’s degree in a human behavior related field (HCI, Cognitive Psychology, Social Science, Information Science, Anthropology or similar).
  • You have experience in applying qualitative and/or quantitative research methods, preferably within the UX field.
  • You are enthusiastic to learn about user problems and are passionate about human centered design.
  • You have experience presenting research findings to stakeholders.
  • You are communicative and open-minded.
  • You have excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • You work independently and are well organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • You live in Zurich or in a surrounding area.
  • You are committed to frequent in-person interactions for building strong connections, with flexibility for remote individual work when appropriate.
