Team mission

The Connectivity Team ensures that our customers have seamless access to incredible travel experiences through Connectivity. GetYourGuide supports API integrations with industry-leading reservation, ticketing systems and channel managers, allowing suppliers to manage all of their bookings and availability in one place. As the Connectivity Support Team Manager you will be a people manager to our Connectivity Support Specialists and work very closely with the Product, Engineering, Sales, and Supply teams and our connectivity providers with a specific focus on Support tasks.

You will:

  • Lead a team of 6 Connectivity support Specialists, provide strong leadership and foster their professional growth and development
  • Define team metrics and priorities and ensure execution against targets.
  • Drive continuous improvements in our operational processes. Initiate and oversee projects aimed at establishing and refining operational workflows.
  • Manage cross-functional projects with key stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Supply, Connectivity, and Sales teams.
  • Own and manage ad-hoc projects and high impact initiatives focused on scale and automation to drive growth and innovation in our Supply Services.
  • Drive the overall strategy of the Connectivity support function, ensuring alignment with our broader organizational goals.

Who you are

  • An experienced people manager with a background in operations in a high performance environment, ideally in a marketplace company
  • Proficient in creating and optimizing processes, particularly in fast-growing environments. Excel at managing cross-functional projects across multiple stakeholders
  • Able to identify trends, create actionable insights, and engage senior leadership around an initiative and lead it to success
  • You are flexible, excited by change, and able to adapt to evolving business needs
  • You have an analytical mindset and structured thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and diligent with exceptional time management skills
  • Excellent organizational skills: ability to prioritize, manage, multi-task and execute projects multi-functionally
  • You have an affinity for technology and proven experience with API’s is a plus
  • Experience reviewing and unpacking lines of code
  • Experience leading and developing technical teams
  • Experience documenting and triaging technical issues
  • The ability to quickly learn new applications and technologies and a desire for continuous learning and improvement
  • Flexible and adaptable - both integrations and their processes will develop over time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
