Based in our Berlin headquarters and reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will lead a team that develops our Total Rewards strategy and solutions, partners with leaders, and embeds these solutions into the organisation. You will also lead our People Analytics function, focusing on delivering the best data insights to drive people decisions.

We are seeking a strategic and results-orientedHead of Total Rewards and People Analytics to lead our Compensation & Benefits, and People Analytics functions. This role will be instrumental in designing and implementing innovative reward strategies, embedded in our culture and leveraging data analytics to drive informed people decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in total rewards, a passion for data-driven insights, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.

You will oversee:

  • Total Rewards Strategy:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive total rewards strategy that aligns with GetYourGuide’s business goals and culture.
    • Oversee the design, implementation, and management of compensation and benefits programs, including executive compensation, base salary, variable pay, and equity plans.
  • Compensation Management:
    • Lead the evolution of the design and management of salary structures, incentive plans, and equity programs.
    • Partner with senior leadership to develop and manage executive compensation packages.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Oversee the selection and management of benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other employee perks.
    • Evaluate and enhance benefits offerings to ensure they meet the needs of a diverse workforce.
  • People Analytics:
    • Develop and lead the people analytics function to provide actionable insights to the people team and company leaders.
    • Utilize data to inform strategic decisions related to e.g talent acquisition, development, retention, and succession planning.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Lead and mentor a team of compensation and analytics professionals.
    • Collaborate with HR leadership on total rewards strategy, implementation and links to other people related areas.
    • Communicate effectively with senior leadership to provide insights and recommendations.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • 7+ years of relevant rewards-related experience and associated qualifications within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
  • Possesses a strong strategic outlook with intellectual curiosity, a passion for customer-centric problem solving, and adaptability in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to articulate complex analyses and solutions clearly and concisely to leadership and employees.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Dynamic and proactive, thriving in a results-driven, fast-paced environment and consistently taking the initiative to drive projects forward.
