Team mission

Our mission is to be the tax function of the future. Timely tax compliance and reporting underpinned by technology and an expert team: technically proficient, commercially aware, data-driven. These attributes are combined with a proactive, ownership mindset to ensure both operational value-add and robust risk management.

Your mission:

• Own the US sales tax landscape across the group, bringing strong technical acumen alongside commercial credentials
• Liaise with key stakeholders in the US - both internal and external - to create efficiencies and minimise friction
• Establish robust risk management processes for timely compliance
• Work with advisors to understand any accompanying state tax obligations and work towards a robust compliance process with internal stakeholders
• Establish channels to educate the business on US sales tax, and create resources (playbooks, chatbots, etc.) to scale wider understanding
• Act as a point of contact for marketplace sellers in respect of US sales tax, including development of best-in-class educational resources

Your toolkit:

• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in tax (US sales tax experience preferred and marketplace facilitator a plus), university degree
• Well-organized, detail-oriented and willing to work independently
• Demonstrate resilience and flexibility in a fast-moving environment
• Solution-oriented approach and growth mindset
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP in particular) and large datasets is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
