Team mission

We’re looking for an Account Executive Lead to manage and develop a team of Account Executives focused on new supplier acquisition, including a high volume of tours, experiences, and attractions as well as the most iconic things to do in key destinations. You will own the new-supply growth engine in your region—setting a rigorous sales rhythm, coaching for excellence, and ensuring we consistently exceed acquisition and revenue targets.

As Team Lead Sales you will report to our Director of Sales and you will be responsible for the acquisition of key attractions and activity partners in the region, build strong business relationships, and create strategic supply advantages for GetYourGuide.

Team mission:

Find and acquire the best things to do across the globe.

Your mission:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives to consistently hit and exceed new supplier acquisition and revenue targets.
  • Build a disciplined operating rhythm: weekly pipeline reviews, forecast accuracy checks, activity and conversion dashboards, call coaching, and deal strategy sessions.
  • Drive sales process excellence: identify and scale opportunities across the funnel (outreach tactics, pitch quality, objection handling, pricing/terms negotiations, pitch, deal cycle management)
  • Ensure high-quality CRM hygiene and data integrity; leverage sales tools and software (including CRM like Salesforce and sales enablement tools) for forecasting, capacity planning, and performance insights.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Content, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to remove roadblocks, accelerate onboarding, and scale repeatable playbooks.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and continuous development of A-players; foster an inclusive, high-trust, high-ownership team culture grounded in ethics and customer impact.

Your toolkit:

  • 5+ years in B2B sales including 2+ years leading high-velocity new business teams (e.g., SDR/AE or field acquisition) with a strong record of exceeding targets.
  • Strong operational leader: builds repeatable systems, improves KPIs across the funnel (activity, conversion, cycle time, forecast accuracy), and scales best practices.
  • Exceptional coach and communicator: uplevel objection handling, negotiation, and executive storytelling; runs effective deal reviews and call coaching.
  • Data-driven and process-oriented: comfortable with sales tools and software—including CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools—for forecasting and performance management.
  • Skilled negotiator with a win-win mentality; comfortable creating constructive tension and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Deep curiosity and business acumen: ties proposals to ROI, efficiency, and risk; adapts messaging to supplier leadership.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, international and entrepreneurial environment; models high ethics, resilience, and accountability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; native-level fluency in the local language or proven negotiation ability in English/local language.
  • Travel industry, marketplace, or travel tech experience is a plus; a relevant network in tourism is an advantage.
