We are looking for a Senior Regional Lead, Government Relations to help deliver Lime’s policy and public affairs work in London. You will report to the Director of Policy for London. This is a key position in Lime’s UK policy team and will focus on engaging with new London boroughs to help expand our service in the city. There will be significant opportunity for growth within the role.
This is a hybrid position based in London that combines remote and onsite work from our Central London WeWork.
What you'll do:
Build and manage relationships with politicians, local authorities, transport partners and third sector stakeholders to help expand our London service and open up new boroughs.
Plan and execute local campaigns on specific issue areas or in specific geographies to deliver positive business outcomes for Lime.
Partner with organisations in target cities to align Lime’s social mission with existing transport, health, and environmental community initiatives.
Collaborate closely with other Lime team members on operations, media engagement and marketing.
Work closely with the wider local policy team to identify growth opportunities and any risks or upcoming policy challenges for Lime.
About you:
5+ years experience in government affairs, political campaigns, and/or business development/expansion in a government-related environment.
Excellent internal and external communication and writing skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver accurate, high quality outputs at speed.
Strong understanding of UK/London politics and how to design and implement public affairs strategies to deliver business goals.
Existing transport, government, and advocacy contacts and relationships in London (Desirable).
Experience in community organising, political campaign or other grassroots outreach in London (Desirable).
