Lime is the largest global shared micromobility business, operating in close to 30 countries across five continents. We’re on a mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free. Our electric bikes and scooters have powered more than one billion rides in cities around the world. Named a 2025 Time 100 Most Influential Company, Lime continues to set the pace for shared micromobility globally, spurring a new generation of clean alternatives to car ownership.

We are hiring a Government Relations Manager in Greece to join Lime's policy and communications team. In this role, you will drive our policy and public affairs work in Greece and Romania in a dynamic and diverse team. This is a strategic role, so you should expect to design, develop and execute a public affairs strategy across several countries and be comfortable working independently to deliver this. You will make an impact by helping us advance micro-mobility, impact regulatory changes on municipal and national levels, grow our fleet size and revenue focus, and enter new markets.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in building partnerships with community and government stakeholders and communicating the values of our service to regulators, the media and other key constituencies. You will also be comfortable working in an environment with evolving goals and have an aptitude to overcome obstacles as they arise and ambition to get things done. This role will report directly to our Government Relations Director for CEE, Nordics and ME.

This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates to reside in Greece to maintain effective collaboration across teams. This position requires occasional travel to support business operations, which is considered an essential function of the role. Lime will provide reasonable accommodations as needed.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with local councillors, government leaders, businesses, non-profits, community organisations, the media and other prospective partners to effectively carry out Lime's government relations strategy.

  • In partnership with regional leadership, evaluate, prioritise, and implement strategic paths toward growth in current and future markets across Greece, Crete, as well as Romanian markets.

  • Partner with organisations, educational institutions, and similar groups to align Lime's social mission in transportation, health, safety, and the environment.

  • Set and implement a dynamic public policy and advocacy agenda for Lime in Greece and Romania, and work with cross-functional teams and senior management to ensure alignment between business objectives and policy goals.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team and act as the face of Lime in the region by participating in media interviews and speaking at public events.

  • Track and advise on important changes in regulatory or legislative matters affecting your market.

About You:

  • 3+ years experience in government affairs, political campaigns, and/or business development in a government-related environment. Previous professional experience in transportation and mobility is preferred.

  • Degree in Politics, Communications, Public Relations, or equivalent experience.

  • An analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to drive the company toward high-impact initiatives and efficient growth.

  • Ability to work independently and deliver accurate, high quality outputs at speed.

  • Existing transport, government, and advocacy contacts and relationships in Greece and Romania (desirable).

  • Excellent Greek and English language communications skills and comfortability speaking in public are required.

  • Availability to travel at least 30% of the time depending on business needs.
