Location: Horgen, Switzerland

NIL Technology is a leading manufacturer of micro-and nanostructured optical components and systems.

We’re on the lookout for an Optical Systems Engineer with a keen eye for innovation and the drive for defining the future of camera technology. At NIL Technology, you’ll be diving into the world of wafer-level optics, playing a pivotal role in crafting the system architectures for our cutting-edge camera modules.

You’ll be tasked with defining the architecture of camera modules, but also a variety of optical devices such as dot projectors and diffuser modules. Your expertise will guide these projects from conception to reality, ensuring they meet our high standards and align with the evolving needs of the market. An important aspect of the job is to balance the various tradeoffs related to cost, performance, size and complexity.

You’ll be the bridge to our external partners, collaborating with module integrator companies both near and far. Your insights will help shape the partnerships that elevate our products and processes.

In our hacker lab, you’ll get hands-on, building demos that bring our concepts to life. It’s a place where experimentation meets execution, and where your contributions will shine brightly.

You will be part of a company that offers a fast-moving and busy work environment, where all opinions are valued together. We have a strong team spirit and a profound “we win, and we lose together” attitude which we value and culture. Read more at www.nilt.com/join-us/
