Open position: Nanooptics Mastering Engineer

NIL Technology is continuously expanding the activities. Thus, we are looking to expand our team with a mastering engineer for flat optics. You will work in the cleanroom where your primary responsibilities will be to develop and refine processes for masters for our customer projects. You will work closely with both design and engineering team to develop our flat optics targeting world-leading optical performances. Occasionally you might also be supporting fabrication of prototyping for internal and customer related projects.

The cleanroom work will primarily involve working with electron-beam lithography and dry etching processes; hence, we expect you to have a high level of experience with these processes, and that you are experienced with nanofabrication and metrology in general. This includes experience with thin-film depositions (E-beam evaporator, sputtering and ALD) and their characterization methods (ellipsometry and profiling) as well as scanning-electron- and atomic-force- microscopy.

You will be based in our headquarters in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, and your work will primarily be carried out in the DTU Nanolab cleanroom. You will work closely together with colleagues located in Denmark, Sweden, and Switzerland.

You will be part of a company that offers a fast moving and busy work environment, where all opinions are valued together. We appreciate team spirit and mutual success very high. We have a profound “we win, and we lose together”-spirit which we value and culture.
