Open position: Electron beam lithography expert

NIL Technology is continuously expanding the activities. Thus, we are looking to add an additional electron beam lithography expert to our team. You will work in the cleanroom where your primary responsibilities will be to maintain, develop and refine processes for electron beam lithography across several types of applications, supporting both internal development and external customer needs.

The work in the cleanroom will also include processes related to pattern transfers and characterization, hence, beside excellent knowledge of lithography, we expect experience with etching, thin-film depositions, and scanning-electron microscopy. Part of the position will also be optimizations related to process automation and data preparation, hence programming experience in Bash and C are also relevant.

You will be based in our headquarters in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, and your work will primarily be carried out in the DTU Nanolab cleanroom. You will work closely together with colleagues located in Denmark, Sweden, and Switzerland, and should expect 1-2 weeks of travel per year.

Essential duties and responsibilities of the position

• Develop new processes related to electron beam lithography
• Maintain and calibrate electron beam writer
• Automation of processes within production
• Training of users, both new and experienced
• Occasional support in fabrication of masters and prototyping

Must have

• You must be allowed to work in Denmark
• MSc or PhD in applied science or engineering
• Several years of experience with working in cleanroom environments
• Strong understanding and several years of experience with electron-beam lithography and related processes
• Skilled in data documentation, analysis, and presentation
• Being able to maneuver in complex process flows
