NIL Technology was acquired by Radiant Opto-Electronics Corporation in January 2025 and now our finance team is growing. We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join us in Lyngby, Denmark.

You will be responsible for accounting, reconciliations and month-end preparations for our entities, and be part of a core finance team consisting of you, an accountant, a group controller and a senior finance manager. We work together on improving finance processes, and you will not be left alone. But we require that you start and drive different projects by yourself, therefore hands-on experience in accounting and financial controlling is a must-have.

Experience in Microsoft Business Central and/or SAP is a clear advantage, and good excel skills are a requirement. Essential duties and responsibilities of the position

• Assist accountant in registrations (cut-off, dimensions etc.)
• Post and review journal entries
• Prepare accruals and provision and improve the monthly closing process
• Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts in all group entities (and identify improvement areas)
• Controlling of cost (department, function, cut-off etc.)
• Review fixed asset register and keep up to date (both intangible and tangible assets)
• Optimize the way we use our accounting and month-end software
• Participate in implementation of SAP
• Assist with year-end in all entities incl. contact to external auditors
• Other ad-hoc tasks

Must have

• Solid ERP experience, preferably knowledge in Business Central or SAP
• Great hands-on accounting skills
• An advantage if you know general VAT and salary concepts
• You are a team player and like to interact with different parts of the organization
• You have the ability to help develop and improve the accounting processes
• You have a systematic and structured approach to solving problems
• You are proactive and suggest solutions and methodologies that are more efficient
