NIL Technology is growing, and we are looking for a new colleague to join our team in Horgen (Zurich, Switzerland). As a Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth supply chain operations by managing supplier relationships, coordinating procurement activities, and securing timely delivery of goods and materials. In addition, you will support the logistics process by organizing shipments, tracking deliveries, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

We’re looking for a pragmatic team player with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset, strong common sense, and the ability to stay positive under pressure. You can analyze and understand complex structures and systems and can communicate them in a comprehensible way.

You will be part of our newly established international Supply Chain team, currently consisting of three coordinators based in Denmark, Switzerland, and Malaysia. With your target-oriented approach to work, you will successfully navigate the fast-paced work environment typical for the consumer electronics industry. Main tasks and Responsibilities of the position

Purchasing – Manage supplier relationships and ensure efficient procurement processes:

• Process purchases requisitions and generates orders in line with company policies.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure best price, quality, and delivery terms.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier data.
• Ensure compliance with contracts and procurement guidelines.

Logistics – Ensure smooth flow of goods across borders and within the supply chain:

• Coordinate transportation of goods (import/export, domestic shipments, courier services).
• Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse operators.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation (invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, etc.).
• Monitor inventory levels and support stock control activities.

Administration & Reporting – Keep processes transparent and records accurate:

• Maintain up-to-date records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory movements.
• Assist the finance team with invoice verification and payment processes.
• Prepare reports on purchasing and logistics performance as needed.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with procurement and logistics regulations.

You will be located in Switzerland.

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain administration.
• Knowledge of procurement practices, logistics processes, and international shipping terms (Incoterms).
• Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP/Procurement systems (SAP S/4 preferred) and MS Office.
• Proven ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and coordinate effectively across teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
