NIL Technology is growing, and we are looking for a new colleague to join our team in Lyngby. We are looking for a hands-on HR generalist to join us in Lyngby, Denmark.

You will be responsible for owning and supporting the employee journey, from job posting, hiring and onboarding, to retention and offboarding. We work together on improving our processes, and you will play a crucial role in this. We are looking for someone who can start and drive different projects on their own, therefore hands-on experience in HR is a must.

Experience with international HR tasks is a clear advantage. We welcome all kinds of suggestions and if you have a can-do attitude and know how to structure and improve the way tasks are carried out, you should apply for this position!

Essential duties and responsibilities of the position

• Drive the hiring process, including drafting and posting of job descriptions, salary estimates, contract drafting and onboarding material
• Own, maintain and improve onboarding materials, employee handbook and code of conduct
• Building local compensation benchmark across sites in Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden and USA
• Support development of our compensation model together with finance
• Own and maintain employee records in HR system (system owner)
• Monitor time-registration across the organization
• Manage work permits, researchers tax schemes, and other relevant HR tasks across sites
• Coordinate employee relocations and liaise with relevant stakeholders
• Create and harmonize HR policies and employee benefits across countries, including employer branding initiatives
• Support finance in review of payroll processes including bonuses, salary updates and vacation balances
• Oversee gross salary benefit schemes
• Other ad-hoc tasks

Must have

• Experience with the hiring process including contract drafting
• General understanding of employment law
• Experience working with HR data/HR systems
• You are a team player and like to interact with different parts of the organization
• You have the ability to help develop and improve our process
• You have a systematic and structured approach to solving problems
• You are proactive and suggest solutions and methodologies that are more efficient
