Tasks and responsibilities
Architect end‑to‑end imaging systems
You will design camera architectures that include sensor selection, lens and module integration, ISP analysis, and overall system‑level optimization.
Lead image quality optimization
You will drive improvements in color accuracy, dynamic range, SNR, noise reduction, autofocus, latency, and power/thermal performance to ensure outstanding image quality.
Bridge hardware, software, and metrology
You will act as a key liaison between disciplines to ensure all design choices align with product requirements, sensor characteristics, and footprint constraints.
Collaborate across the ecosystem
You will work closely with customers, suppliers, module integrators, manufacturers, and internal product teams to ensure robust and manufacturable solutions.
Skills, experiences and qualifications we are looking for
- 7+ years of experience in camera hardware or system architecture.
- MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Optics, Applied Physics, or related fields.
- Deep understanding of optics, image sensors, ISP pipelines, and image quality metrics.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or embedded C/C++ for modelling and simulation.
- Strong experience working across hardware, software, and metrology.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with consumer‑grade camera module manufacturing.
- Expertise in system bring‑up, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Hardware/software co‑design experience.
