About the job
As Product Manager for our meta-optics camera line, you will own the product from concept to customer. You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge optical engineering and real-world commercial applications. You will translate what our technology can do into products that customers want to buy.
This is an international role with a home base in Zurich, Switzerland. This role sits at the heart of our organization, connecting R&D, project execution, sales, and customers into a coherent product strategy.

Tasks and responsibilities
Product definition and requirements
Lead product definition in close collaboration with technical leads and project managers. Define and communicate the business value and strategic rationale behind product development decisions. Own, maintain, and build product requirements documentation for new and existing products.
Build and update product roadmaps.
Define product timelines and milestones, working closely with the project execution team to ensure delivery.
Pricing and commercial strategy
Understand product costs and build pricing strategies for different market segments. Define and monitor success metrics for the product line.
Market and competitive intelligence
Track what others are doing, identify gaps and opportunities, and feed insights into product strategy and roadmap decisions.
Customer and partner engagement
Synthesize customer feedback into actionable insights for the development team. Travel (up to 30% of the time) to interact directly with customers and supply-chain partners.
Go-to-market support
Coordinate product launches with sales and marketing. Support the development of marketing collateral and external-facing documentation.
Skills, experiences and qualifications we are looking for
- BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Electronic Engineering, or similar required. MSc preferred
- Experience in hardware product management within the consumer electronics segment required. Experience with camera optics desired
- Direct experience taking products from concept to prototyping to release
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and engaging with external partners in the consumer electronics ecosystem
- Proven ability to manage and align multiple stakeholders across technical, commercial, and executive functions
- Collaborative and adaptable, with the maturity to stay composed under pressure and bring clarity to complex situations
- Hands-on experience setting up and operating imaging systems, demonstrating prototypes, and providing first-line technical support
- Fluent in English. Fluency in Chinese is an advantage
- Willing to travel globally (up to 30%)
