As Senior Manager, Accounting & Consolidations, you will be part of our growing Finance team. You will lead all aspects of the accounting, consolidations and indirect tax requirements for the Scandit group, including fulfilling technical accounting and ICS needs. Additionally, you will hold a leading role in projects, such as an ERP implementation, back-office automation and in-housing of the Accounting team.

What You Will Do

• Manage and support the development of the Accounting and Accounts Payable teams, including moving from a largely outsourced to an inhouse model
• Manage the global accounting function, including the month- & quarter end close, preparing/reviewing reconciliations, related analysis, intercompany preparation and processing, consolidation and other reporting requirements
• Develop and maintain world-wide accounting policies, procedures, and strong internal controls
• Manage group and local statutory accounting, including direct interaction with external auditors, efficiently manage their requirements, promptly address audit findings and implement corrective actions for consistent compliance and accuracy
• Establish and optimize operational and financial processes and system improvements, developing best-in-class functions
• Take a leading role in projects including ERP implementation, ICS roll-out, establishment and integration of new legal entities
• Perform technical accounting research and apply it in practice
• Identify actions to drive efficiency and effectiveness of the team’s work
• Partner effectively with other teams, such as Revenue & OTC, Tax, Treasury, Governance and Payroll, to ensure accurate accounting for their areas

Who You Are

• 10+ years of experience developing through the levels in accounting, consolidations and tax (direct & indirect), preferably with experience working in external audit
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar, with a professional accounting qualification preferred (such as CPA, ACA, ACCA)
• Experience in managing a multi-functional team
• In depth knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP
• Experienced in implementation and use of ERPs and other accounting-related technology
• Affinity to identify opportunities for automation and leverage technology to eliminate spreadsheets
• Experience with growth stage tech (software/SaaS) companies and international expansion is preferred
• A desire to acquire fresh knowledge and enhance existing processes/policies
• Ability and willingness to work at different levels depending on the situation – strategic and operational
• Strong process-orientation, highly organized, diligent, detail-oriented, well-structured
• Proactive and independent working style with a good sense of when to escalate issues
• Able to work independently on your own initiative and as part of a team
• High degree of flexibility in handling new assignments and the ability to adapt to change in the work environment
• As our business language is English, strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
