Your opportunity
As People Operations Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact in the People Team for any work-related matters. While you may be explaining policies, resolving cases, or supporting a core process on one day, you may also be needed to support organizing an event or support some office activities.
The role is broad and varied and is just right for talented individuals, who are looking for a career in the broader people arena but perhaps haven’t yet quite found their niche. It offers exposure to all areas of the People function while providing the opportunity to contribute from day one with important deliverables.
- Provide day-to-day support for Scandit employees' queries by either directing them to the necessary information or resolving their issues through our case management system. Address a wide range of people-related questions and use these queries to continuously improve Tier 0 information, driving increased self-service.
- Act as the main contact for team members, vendors and our landlord, helping to enhance the office culture.
- HR Knowledge: Maintain an understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations relevant to Human Resources, and provide Tier 1 HR policy interpretation when necessary.
- Office Management: Handle, scan, and sort company mail to ensure timely and accurate distribution. Proactively conduct regular office inspections and resolve any issues. Maintain high standards for the facility and equipment, and build good relationships with fellow tenants and other stakeholders. Ensure all necessary items are in stock and meet health and safety standards.
- Maintain our People Systems –maintain all people records, as well as ensure accurate and timely delivery of data to the Payroll team, and for relevant Government/Legal Compliance requirements.
- Maintain HR documentation – including personnel files both in hard copy and our shared drives and HRIS. Create and distribute documents/letters and take charge of tracking spending against budgets.
- Support the HR Function – Partner with our CoE’s, to deliver projects, improve processes, and drive efficiencies within the function.
- Coordinate onboarding for new joiners, ensuring they have everything they need to succeed at Scandit on Day One.
- Event Management: Co-design, organize, and host events to ensure all employees are engaged and included. Assist with internal and external events, ranging from 10 to 200 participants.

- You’re not afraid to be “hands-on” to get things done. You have strong organizational skills, and attention to detail and can balance multiple demands and competing priorities.
- You are proactive and you take ownership.
- You remain calm under pressure and stay professional and friendly.
- You’ll appreciate and understand the need for confidentiality in dealing with any people-related activities.
- Willingness to flex outside your role, your team, and (sometimes) your comfort zone to have a real impact on the business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Business level fluency in English and Finish, both written and spoken.
