Skylo is a global Non-Terrestrial Network service provider based in Mountain View, CA, offering a service that allows smartphone and IoT cellular devices to connect directly over existing satellites. Skylo’s direct-to-device service is now live on millions of activated devices across five continents, with more than 60 million square kilometers of coverage, in partnership with multiple satellite operators, mobile network operators (MNOs), Tier-1 chipset makers, and OEMs. Devices connected over satellite are managed and served by Skylo's commercial NTN vRAN, featuring a 3GPP standards-based cloud-native base station and core. Skylo provides an anywhere, anytime connectivity solution that seamlessly roams between terrestrial and satellite networks. Our focus is on enabling connected services for people outdoors and connected workflows across three main verticals: mass-market consumer devices, automotive, and industrial IoT.

This role is located Mountain View, CA where this role is onsite 5 days a week in office.

Summary Of How You Will Impact Skylo

Skylo is hiring a Office Manager to help fulfill Skylo’s mission of making satellite connectivity available to all. This individual will be a key culture carrier, you will transform our Mountain View headquarters into a high-leverage environment that fosters collaboration and serves as the blueprint for our global hubs. This role is ideally suited for a self-starter who is currently part of a wider Real Estate & Workplace Services (REWS) team and is now ready to take full ownership of the function within a collaborative global framework. By owning everything from bespoke swag to seamless onsite workflows, you ensure our world-class talent can focus entirely on solving the hardest problems in telecommunications.

How You Will Contribute

  • Own the end-to-end operations of the Mountain View headquarters to ensure a high-performance and frictionless environment for all employees.
  • Act as a key driver of Skylo’s in-place culture by designing and executing workplace initiatives that build a sense of community and belonging.
  • Design and manage a global swag strategy that reinforces Skylo’s brand identity across all US-based employees and international hubs.
  • Identify and resolve systemic operational bottlenecks in office resource allocation to maintain workplace efficiency.
  • Coordinate with global site leads to ensure consistency in workplace standards while adapting to local regional needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and office budgets with a focus on long-term reliability and service quality.
  • Lead the planning and execution of internal events and onsite visits that showcase Skylo’s culture to employees and external partners.

Additional information

The compensation range for this position is: $95,000 - $105,000. This range reflects the low and high end of the range Skylo reasonably and generally expects to pay the hired candidate in this role.
