As we are working on the detailed design of our Nyx Earth version, which will dock to the space stations around the Earth, we are currently seeking an Intern to support Scheduling & Risk Management for the execution of the Low Earth Orbit Missions.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist the Program team in documenting and managing schedules and risks, improving milestone flowdown, and maintaining dashboards that provide transparency across the entire Nyx team.
You will report to the Program Management Officer and work closely with subsystem leads and the broader Program team.
Key responsibilities:
In your capacity as a Scheduling & Risk Management Intern, your role will be continuously evolving, but day-to-day your duties will include:
Schedule Management:
Support the Program team in documenting and maintaining the master schedule.
Assist in improving the flowdown of major program milestones to lower-level activities.
Help track progress against milestones and identify potential delays.
Risk Management:
Support the identification and documentation of program risks.
Assist in maintaining a risk register and updating mitigation plans.
Dashboard & Reporting:
Maintain a program and risk dashboard accessible to the entire Nyx team.
Prepare clear and concise reports for internal stakeholders.
Collaboration:
Work closely with subsystem leads to ensure alignment of schedules and risk data.
Foster effective communication within the Program team and across technical teams.
What we would love to see from you:
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Strong interest in space systems and program management.
Basic understanding of scheduling principles and risk management concepts.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, monday.com, or similar) is a plus.
Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is an advantage.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English; French or German is a plus.
