Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

We want you as a talented CAD Technician to help us in our mission by supporting the design of tooling, ground support equipment (GSE), and test infrastructures critical to bring our propulsion systems to life.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and maintain detailed CAD models and technical drawings for mechanical tooling, jigs, fixtures, test benches, and GSE

• Support the procurement and manufacturing of designed equipment by preparing detailed fabrication drawings and BOMs

• Participate to the commissioning of the test benches

• Ensure an accurate configuration management of the test benches CAD models

• Collaborate closely with AIT engineers, technicians, and manufacturing partners to ensure that all equipment is fit-for-purpose, manufacturable, and aligned with operational needs

• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis in case of anomalies

• Maintain documentation, participate in design reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement

What we would love to see from you:

• Over 2 years of experience as a CAD Technician, ideally in aerospace, automotive, motorsport, or similar high-quality sectors

• Experience with CAD software (Siemens NX, CATIA, Solid Works etc.)

• Expertise in creating manufacturing drawings (GD&T, tolerance analysis etc.)

• Ability to assess deviations from manufacturing

• Familiarity with test benches is a plus

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while keeping safety-first as a priority

• Team player, organized and rigorous

• Fluency in English
