Senior Automation QA Engineer

Position

Workfusion is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to empower product development in Warsaw. This person will join our world-class team building out industry leading software. The automation engineer is responsible for test case design, best practices, and automation. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and ability to implement strategies that optimize the value of test automation across the entire team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide effective, efficient, and predictable QA services
• Development, maintenance, and refactoring for the test automation frameworks for UI, REST, Integration, and End-to-End automated testing
• Implement automation testing methodologies in order to reduce time to market within the CI/CD processes and SDLC of the product
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure team on the delivery of value according to the company's priorities
• Lead the team in test design and automation best practices to ensure quality in both the product and test code

Qualifications/Experience

• 5+ years of experience in automation with Java
• Solid knowledge of Selenium, Maven, Jenkins Job DSL, REST, and SQL
• Good understanding of test design techniques and automation best practices
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Would be a plus

• Familiarity with Serenity, JUnit (or similar XUnit framework), RestAssured, Hamcrest, Mangle
• Experience in writing tests for different levels of testing (unit/integration/API/acceptance/end-to-end)
• Experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks (Page-Object Model)
• Proficiency in non-functional testing (load, performance, fail over, chaos)
