Job DescriptionAbout Zoomcar :Zoomcar is India's first and largest self-drive car rental service. We're intensely focused on redefining urban mobility through our dynamic car sharing marketplace platform that creates a world class experience for both owners and renters. ResponsibilitiesZoomcar needs a hustler, therefore payments product manager is expected to have a very strong user centric approach and passion for payments. He/She will be responsible for part of the overall product and work closely with Product leads across functions. He/She would be needed to define the product features in the existing product and tie all the different functions of the org together during the execution phase. Needs to have outstanding attention to detail and should be able to map company's vision to product ideas and an actionable plan. He/She should be able to conduct market research and technical research around the undertaken project. He/She should be able to define measurable goals and steer the team to the goal within the existing constraints. QualificationsKey Requirements :
  • Previous work experience as a Product Manager or similar role 4 - 6 years
  • B.Tech or MBA from a top tier college (IIT/NIT/BITS/IIM or similar)
  • Experience managing a payments product and entire product lifecycle
  • Knowledge of project management tools like Jira and Web & APP technologies
  • Should know how to craft data stories and present it as per the audience
  • Experience in problem identification
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams
  • Should know how to influence and motivate people
Preferred Candidates Will Have
  • Deep understanding of payment accounting ecosystems, industry trends, technology development and evolving customer needs
  • Excellent negotiation skills and verbal and written communications skills
  • Extremely analytical and data driven; ability to derive actionable conclusions from large data sets
  • The ability to create multiple hypotheses and validate these using data/customer interactions and other tools
  • The ability to think holistically covering all the aspects including edges and future possibilities
  • A natural ability to empathise with customers and understand their real pain points
  • Ability to understand tech deeply (architecture, scale pitfalls, etc) and to define functional design by taking platform/capability view
  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders to keep them up to speed on planning, roadmap, execution status, launch, its impact, learnings, etc
  • A sharp focus on automating repeatable tasks and reducing operational overheads
