Responsibilities
- Be an integral part of putting together an operational plan which meets the needs of our company/customer requirements
- Will be responsible for the entire start-up (oversee building/renovation of the facility, hiring a team, managing orders/vendors
- Team building & management: You are responsible for overall team success, including finding teammates, managing, and helping the team grow. You know how to bring out the best in people, and are always looking for great new team members. You create and nurture a team-first, growth-oriented organization
- Partnership development: You’ll develop and enrich our partnerships with local governments, businesses, and NGOs
- Responsible for recruiting and growing local team
- Travel 80% (May be more or less depending on business needs)
Requirements
- 5+ years of success in leading operations, logistics, business development in
- Proven track record in developing a leadership team and individuals whilst ensuring an engaged workforce
- Sound experience in leading projects and has the ability to draw upon and utilize a team to complete the tasks
- Positive demeanor with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and make decisions
- Definite self-starter who can act on their own initiative
- technology/retail-management/sales, ideally in a startup or other fast-changing environment
- Analytical thinking, data-driven mentality and strong business judgment
- Able to roll up your sleeves and analyze the data and pull important insights for your team
- Ability to communicate and listen effectively with great written, verbal and presentation skills
- Passionate about the overall goals and sustainable transportation
The targeted base salary range for this role is listed in the compensation section below. Actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. If you are a full-time salaried or hourly worker, we offer the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Holidays, Wellness, Vacation, and more. The targeted pay range for this role in US: $100k-$130K
