Who You Are:
The role will report into our corporate finance team (FP&A). This experienced and forward-thinking professional will support the FP&A and Sales teams in delivering compliant, competitive, and cost-effective proposals that are both high-value and on time. The Senior Sales Finance Analyst will leverage strong analytical skills and attention to detail to interpret solicitation requirements and develop competitive, compliant pricing proposals. This role will also be responsible for preparing due diligence materials, conducting market research to support pricing strategy, coordinating pricing schedules, and building cost and pricing models and templates.
This is a hybrid position based out of our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. You will be required to be onsite 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday). We will only consider candidates already located in the Bay Area.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain pricing models, incorporating usage metrics, value-based analyses, and bundling strategies to optimize revenue and customer adoption and bundling strategies
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and market research to identify pricing trends, positioning opportunities, and best practices
- Analyze customer usage and revenue forecasts to recommend pricing adjustments and packaging optimizations
- Collaborate with Product and Sales to create new pricing strategy, and features that align with market demand and business goals
- Build and update financial models to project revenue, gross margin, and lifetime value under various pricing scenarios
- Partner with the broader Finance team to integrate pricing assumptions into the corporate budget, rolling forecast, and board reports
- Evaluate the financial impact of pricing changes on ARR, MRR, and customer acquisition/retention metrics
- Support go-to-market launch of new subscription tiers, ensuring pricing is communicated clearly across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
What You Bring To Zūm:
- 5+ years experience in financial analysis, demand planning, or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
- Prior experience building financial models in collaboration with Sales and Product teams
- Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills are required (Microsoft Excel and Google Suite)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting goals and deadlines
