We are looking for a Senior Corporate Strategy Manager for our Corporate Strategy and Development team in the heart of buzzing Berlin!

You will work closely with the senior Leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders on high-impact, strategic initiatives across the organization (corporate strategy, business unit strategy, opportunity assessments, M&A, strategic operations) to ensure the mid- and long-term success of Babbel.

You will:

• Develop and implement our corporate strategy in alignment with the senior leadership team’s vision and objectives
• Analyze the market/industry, competitor and megatrend landscape to generate insights for Babbel’s strategy development
• Translate data into meaningful insights, package and present your recommendations on critical topics to key decision makers
• Support the development of our company OKRs and the coordination of the company-wide OKR process at Babbel, working closely with the Leadership team, ultimately helping Babbel (over)achieve its company OKRs
• Provide guidance and support to the business units to ensure the alignment of functional strategies with the overall corporate strategy
• Support organizational change
• Report to Head of Strategy

You are:

• A fast-developing talent with 4+ years experience in management consulting or corporate strategy/development roles with a proven track record of strong project management competencies. Experience with M&A is a plus
• A sharp strategic & analytical thinker and doer with a high degree of comfort working with numbers to develop complex business cases to turn data & trends into actionable strategic insights, and ultimately into strategic action steps. Experience with financial modeling (Excel) is a must, experience with other analytical tools (Tableau) is a plus
• A strong communicator with excellent written communication skills (PowerPoint, G-Suite) and in personal interactionsA motivated, independent self-starter who enjoys driving analysis and outcomes and managing stakeholders for impact and who is not afraid to challenge the status quo
• A detail-oriented, organized project manager who is able to handle complex problems, manage several priorities simultaneously and meet time-sensitive deadlines and who thrives in a fast-paced environment with competing and ever-changing tasks and challenges
• A team player, capable of working effectively and cross-functionally at all levels of management
• Passionate about the digital language learning space and technological developments and trends
• Fluent in English
