We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager for a new Babbel product in the heart of buzzing Berlin!
The team is established as a new exploratory unit within the company. Its mission is to develop a blended learning German course for migrants to better meet their needs as well as those of potential employers. This approach is entrepreneurial, emphasizing rapid learning and a trial-and-error mindset.
You will:
- Be responsible for building strategic partnerships e.g. with NGOs for language course learner acquisition. For this purpose, you plan and execute the most promising measures, e.g. creation of information material, events that the partners need
- Identify relevant communities for learner acquisition and come up with ways to address these where traditional partnerships are not possible. For this, you will work hand in hand with the marketing team
- Work in an interdisciplinary team, in which you will also take on related tasks to provide a great end-to-end user experience
You bring:
- 5+ years experience in business development or in setting up and managing partnerships and related processes, ideally with an established professional network in the migration and/or education sector
- Joy in rolling up your sleeves and doing ground work as required to set up and improve new processes
- A structured, outgoing personality who enjoys contact with partner organizations, community leaders and diverse international applicants to our language programs
- Joy and creativity to proactively try and learn new things and grow as the team is scaling
- A network within the German political landscape around migration, language education or labor shortage topics are a plus
- Arabic or Ukrainian language skills are a plus
