The role
The Training and Development Specialist will be responsible for designing and developing curriculum for ShiftKey’s Operations organization, including coordinating and facilitating delivery of training, documenting training completion, and corresponding assessments with metrics and reporting. This person will be highly organized, adept at creating and implementing training utilizing adult learning theory and other proven learning theories, and able to achieve goals and objectives with minimal oversight.
Where you’ll work
This is a hybrid role in Irving, Tx office and requires in-office collaboration.
What you will be doing:
Review, analyze, build, develop, and maintain training programs focused on the Support Operations Team and its strategic 3rd party business partner.
Use knowledge of instructional system design (ISD), technologies, and adult learning theory to propose learning solutions that are cost-effective, easy-to-create and maintain, visually and instructionally compelling, and that provide a rewarding experience for the learner.
Identify gaps in current processes and partner with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and develop training materials.
Establish goals and learning objectives to design appropriate and effective curriculum by leveraging instructional design methodology.
Conduct train-the-trainer and frontline associate training sessions in both virtual and in-person environments.
Drive projects to execution successfully, managing project milestones and team responsibilities for accountability.
Manage and maintain an extensive library of training content.
Design, deliver and maintain course-level assessments, including reporting on metrics of assessments completed.
Partner with operational leadership teams to ensure ongoing reinforcement of core knowledge and training delivery.
Report on monthly performance and key metrics.
Leverage data to inform training initiatives and projects, aiming to identify and address learning gaps.

What you'll need:
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of training curriculum development and delivery, instructional design, or related experience in a CORPORATE environment
Experience in healthcare or technology is preferred.
Proficient knowledge designing and delivering highly engaging training and instruction utilizing a variety of different methods.
Experience using applications and development tools such as Articulate, Google Slides, PowerPoint, Elucidat, Captivate.
Photoshop, and/or other related applications preferred.
Experience using an LMS, such as Workday, Bridge, or similar preferred.
Experience in Salesforce is highly encouraged.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
